See Bob Run is a one woman act. Bob, "cause no one ever calls me Roberta", is a troubled young woman on the run. She's lonely, scared and most of all, wanting to be understood. Cause that's what drives her crazy, "that nobody does".  Bob wants to leave her past in the rearview mirror. As she hitchhikes, Bob opens up to each driver with a truth, fairytale, a little bit of both and sin.

Bob, is like any other girl. She loves music, "all kinds", likes dancing and had a  crush. She does normal things, like most girls do.

Join Bob on her travels as she makes her way her to her destination. To Where...who knows?

Never Swim Alone is about two best friends, Frank and Bill, two egotistical men in a competition of one-man upmanship for no reason. A farcical metaplay.

Sunny Ryan Productions is thrilled to share with you not one but two of Daniel MacIvor’s greatest hits. See Bob Run and Never Swim Alone helped catapult MacIvor into the pantheon of Canada’s foremost playwrights. Sunny Ryan Productions has teamed up with Plosive Productions for this exciting double bill and launching the 2024/2025 season at The Gladstone Theatre from Oct-16-26.
